Kia implemented its automated solution in time for the new General Data Protection Regulation to come into effect.

The values on the consent form (how and with which information may the customer be contacted) is transferred from the “MySales” CRM system and shown to the customer or interested party on their personal mobile device (e.g. smartphone or tablet PC). The customer/interested party confirms the consent form with their signature, which is then stored in the CRM. Any changes are confirmed by the customer/interested party.

The solution was tested for compliance and will be available to all dealers and sales channels (e.g. online, telephone, etc.). It is guaranteed to provide audit-proof customer data management.

Kia uses POS’s web-based “Software-as-a-Service” service (SaaS), which made it possible to complete the project within three months, where Kia was responsible for data storage (in accordance with GDPR).
