To fully digitize all purchasing processes, the qualified electronic signature in accordance with eIDAS was introduced at Energie AG Upper Austria in the form of the Handy-Signatur from A-Trust. From now on, the employees of the purchasing department can sign documents electronically.

The technical implementation was completely based on POSportal Server technology and the POSsign module. The Handy-Signatur from A-Trust was provided in the signature client, so that not only the advanced electronic signature but also the qualified electronic signature is available. The signature is made through a cloud appliance.
